The Victorian Government is a significant and long-standing developer, owner and provider of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funded Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) (and its predecessor, Shared Supported Accommodation [SSA]). This SDA is widely distributed, mainly Group Homes or Villas/Duplexes and a mixture of Design Categories. In addition, the portfolio includes a significant number of Legacy dwellings. The configuration, management, and ownership of this substantial SDA portfolio may come under review in the medium or long term.
