Govts should commission a housing action plan targeted for people with disability: PC Report

The newly released Productivity Commission (PC) National Housing and Homelessness Agreement (NHHA) Study Report (In Need of Repair) considers the housing of people with disability (among other groups).


It recommends that, in the next NHHA, the Australian, State and Territory Governments should commission a housing action plan under Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031, to improve the availability of affordable and accessible housing for people with disability.


The ball is now firmly in the court of the Australian, State and Territory Governments (as it always has been).
