Household sizes: Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) vs Australian community

In the ongoing debate about group homes (or group houses) it is sometimes raised that there are larger household sizes in the broader Australian community. A comparison between the size of registered SDA and the size of households in the broader Australia population reveals that larger houses do exist but in much small proportions. For SDA to achieve a similar balance to the broader community as the portfolio grows no new larger SDA could be built and indeed some 5 person houses would need to be decommissioned. #disability #socialhousing #powerhousing #ndia #nds #housing #affordablehousing #ndis
